Yoga

Any Change into a new state of being is the result of the fullness of Nature unfolding inherent potential. -The yoga Sutras of Patanjali

Yoga is a wonderful way to help achieve balance. Balance in the muscles of the body, balance in all the systems of the body, both structurally and functionally, balance in the mind and in the spirit. The uniqueness of yoga is not only in its interesting and sometimes obscure poses or sequences, but in the presence it requires. Holding or moving through a yoga pose(s) demands your complete attention. Therefore practicing yoga, allows an opportunity to be completely immersed in the present moment. And by being completely enveloped in the present moment, we connect to our bodies in ways we are typically unable to get by running on a treadmill

Victoria Duncan and Jennifer Posylek traveled to Baja Mexico in the summer of 2010 to participate in the Yandara Yoga teacher training. They spent three weeks immersed in the training and the lifestyle at the beachfront institute.

They are available for private and semi private yoga lessons at the clinic for group up to 4. This can be beneficial for those who are new to yoga and feel intimidated to join a larger group, or for those who have substantial injuries or disorders which require more personal attention.

The goal is always to facilitate and promote personal practice. To help teach and guide the participant, depending on their specific needs, so they can develop and perform their own personal daily yoga practice. So whether its for rehabilitating and injury, for stress reduction, to help with depression, or just for some great exercise, yoga is a fabulous compliment to any treatment, health or exercise regime.

Victoria also teaches off site to larger groups. You may contact her at the clinic for more information.
